Friday, the day after my birthday, I am finally able to see Bungalow and witness the hype I heard about on Instagram. I had already RSVP’d and told my friends and family to do the same.
The night had come and I was deciding between two outfits that would represent how I wanted to look that night. I had chose a off white romper with a thick, black belt with gold trimming on the buckle, floral pumps, greyish clutch, and gold and black jewelry.
I arrived and waited for my guests that said they were on their way. My friend arrived in a leopard print dress with red and gold heels, and a black and gold shoulder bag. I was in awe of her shoes.
Then, my cousin arrived and we were ready to see what was all the hype about. Neither one of us had been there. My cousin wore one of her original designs. It has to be one of the best feelings to know that you can advertise your own thoughts.
We entered the building which was so beautiful. When walking down the sidewalk on your left, it is a game room area, outside, arcade games and shooting pool.
When you keep walking down the sidewalk and you will meet another security guard, then you check in, to pay or if you are RSVP’d. We got our wrist bands and entered in.
We walked into the cabana styled club, we were floored at the beauty and very well-kept scenery: interior designed vip areas, swimming pool with water fountains, tacos cooking, a bar, dj, another vip area that was designed beautifully, and an entry way into the club area inside and the bathroom that smelled like cinnamon. Whoa!!
It was such a beautiful sight but the crowd was definitely, um, not there. It is a place for networking, couples, and groups of people that knows how to entertain themselves. I was informed that around midnight and 1am the people start to come but if you are into paying and waiting to party then this is the place for you, valet is provided. I am a bar hopper so I do not like to stay in one place, at midnight we left to see what else the night had to offer.
When we went outside we kept seeing people exit into this other building called, “The Forum.” It was so nice. Purple lighting, with vintage style white seats, we asked what place is this and the people were more fashionable. I said it was a fashion show. We were informed that it was the waiting area for people who paid VIP. I was like whatttt, they have a club for people to wait, wowww.
I am convinced that Bungalow is the best designed place, hands down, that I have entered into. They really take care of their establishment and attract people that like to enjoy nice things. Now, if only they could get the crowd in before 12 that would be great.
